Spring Cleaning at Willenken Gives Back to L.A. SHARES

Willenken started the spring season off right with an office cleaning project. After finding more than enough items to clear out of the office, the staff and attorneys chose to donate the items rather than throw them away.

The firm partnered with L.A. SHARES, a non-profit materials reuse program that takes donations of new and used materials from the local business community and individuals and redistributes the items free of charge to other non-profit organizations and schools throughout Los Angeles.

L.A. SHARES distributed Willenken’s donations to The Latino Theater CompanyGirls Today Women TomorrowPiece by PieceLos Angeles Police Department Mounted Unit, and New Village Girls Academy.

Among the items were numerous empty binders that the firm donated as part of its recent paperless initiative, which was launched in 2019 in an effort to cut down on paper use in the office and further increase the firm’s efficiency and document security.
