In Shull v. TBTF Productions, the Second Circuit affirmed the district court’s dismissal on the pleadings of a copyright infringement claim involving the popular television series Billions. The Second Circuit, like the district court, compared the two works at issue and concluded that they were not substantially similar as a matter of law.
