Speakers
Willenken LLP Managing Partner Kenneth Trujillo-Jamison spoke with law students at the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Judicial Intern Opportunity Program (JIOP) Orientation, held at the Felicitas and Gonzalo Mendez United States Courthouse in downtown Los Angeles on Monday, June 8, 2026.
Kenneth joined Lauren Blas of Gibson Dunn, Will Rollins of King & Spalding, and Jarrad Wood of the California Department of Justice for the “Building a Successful Legal Career” panel, moderated by Arwen Johnson of King & Spalding. Together, the panelists shared insights on their successes and challenges as lawyers, and lessons learned throughout their careers.
Willenken is proud to support JIOP in its mission to create meaningful, paid summer internship opportunities for law students through placements with participating state and federal judges. The program helps students gain courtroom exposure, build professional connections, and develop a stronger sense of belonging in the legal profession.
