Willenken is honored to receive the 2019 California Minority Counsel Program (CMCP) Minority-Owned Law Firm Client Service Award and National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) Asian Pacific American (APA)-Owned Law Firm of the Year Award.
The CMCP Minority-Owned Law Firm Client Service Award is presented annually to the CMCP minority-owned member law firm that has best demonstrated superior service geared to specific client needs and positive results that serve each client’s best interest. Aarti Wilson accepted the award on behalf of the firm at the Recognition Luncheon on Sept. 13 during the CMCP 30th Annual Business Conference in Los Angeles, Calif. The firm last received this award as Willenken Wilson Loh & Lieb LLP in 2004 after only two years as an established law firm.
The NAPABA APA-Owned Law Firm of the Year Award recognizes the member law firm that has achieved prominence and distinction in its practice and has demonstrated a strong commitment to the APA community while maintaining the highest ethical and legal standards in the profession. It also recognizes the firm that has advanced the goals and ideals of NAPABA and APA legal advocacy groups. Jason Wilson will accept the award on behalf of the firm at the 31st Anniversary Gala on Nov. 9 during the NAPABA Convention in Austin, Texas. Jason and Paul Loh have proudly represented the firm as NAPABA members since 2002.
