Willenken LLP is pleased to have obtained the dismissal with prejudice of a complaint asserted against CBS Studios, Jodi Roth and Yacht Money LLC.
The complaint alleged that the CBS television series Superfan was based on a proposed show that plaintiff had previously pitched to CBS. Willenken filed a demurrer on behalf of all the defendants. The court sustained the demurrer without leave to amend, finding that Superfan was not based on the plaintiff’s pitch.
