On August 2, 2022, Willenken partner Jason Wilson will be a speaker during the Institute for Inclusion in the Legal Profession’s (IILP) virtual Summit. IILP will share its findings from the new report “Diverse Outside Counsel: Who’s Getting the Business?” during the Summit.

The report unveils hard data and examines questions such as:

• What does corporate diversity spend actually look like?
• Who’s getting the business?
• How much of that business is going to lawyers who are women or racial/ethnic minorities or openly LGBTQ+ or have disabilities.

Panels of lawyers from large law firms, diverse-owned firms, and corporate law departments will discuss and comment on what they think the IILP report findings reveal, what any next steps ought to be, and who’s responsible.

IILP is focused on driving real progress through comprehensive outreach and original programming to replace barriers with bridges between legal, judicial, professional, educational, and governmental institutions.
