Paul Loh hosted a Lunch & Learn for the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Minnesota Chapter on Aug. 21 in Golden Valley, Minn.
As part of Willenken’s 2019 sponsorship of the ACC Minnesota Chapter, Paul organized and presented on a panel. The one-hour program, titled “Primer for Successful Litigation Management: How Experienced Trial Counsel Can Help Your Company Obtain an Optimal and Efficient Outcome Without Going to Trial,” explained how the best way to settle a case favorably and, as a result, obtain an optimal outcome, is not by preparing to settle, but by preparing to go to trial.
The experienced trial counsel on the panel were Minnesota local counsel Brent Eilefson (vice president of legal affairs, chief compliance officer, and corporate secretary at Upsher-Smith Laboratories, LLC), William “Bill” Lutz (former vice president of litigation at Genmar Holdings), and Michelle Weinberg (former senior counsel at of Deluxe Corporation). The lunch and presentation took place at the Golden Valley Country Club.
Willenken is a proud sponsor of ACC chapters nationwide. The firm’s attorneys are planning two other CLE presentations to the ACC Southwest Ohio and Washington Chapters in 2019.
