Willenken is pleased to announce that Sharon Song has joined the firm as an Associate. A skilled and strategic litigator, Sharon represents clients in complex commercial, technology, and data privacy disputes in both state and federal courts.
Sharon joins Willenken from a global law firm, where she practiced in the firm’s San Francisco and Los Angeles offices. She has broad experience handling business and consumer class action defense, healthcare litigation, and privacy matters. Sharon has served as lead associate in all aspects of litigation, including developing case strategy, managing client communications, taking and defending depositions, arguing motions, and overseeing junior attorneys.
During a recent secondment with LinkedIn Corporation, Sharon played a key role in developing litigation strategy for the company’s global docket, negotiating a class action settlement, and managing outside counsel. Prior to that, Sharon practiced at two elite litigation firms, where she represented major clients in high-profile disputes across the entertainment, technology, and financial industries.
Sharon earned her J.D. from Harvard Law School, where she served as Supervising Editor for the Harvard Journal on Legislation, and her B.A. in Sociology, cum laude, from Harvard College.
