Willenken LLP is delighted to announce that partner Kenneth Trujillo-Jamison has been elected as the firm’s Managing Partner, effective January 1, 2025, after a transition period during which he will serve as the firm’s Co-Managing Partner alongside Willenken’s outgoing Managing Partner Paul Loh.
Kenneth is an award-winning and result-driven litigator whose practice focuses on representing major corporations in a variety of industries in complex commercial litigation, including intellectual property, copyright, class action defense, and entertainment-related disputes. Kenneth has achieved many successes in the courtroom. For example, as part of Willenken’s 100%-diverse trial team led by Paul, Kenneth played a key role in securing an extraordinary $506 million judgment in a complex pharmaceutical breach of contract case in Delaware Chancery Court.
“I am extremely honored to assume the role as Willenken’s Managing Partner. I cannot thank Paul enough for his efforts—both in the courtroom, where he has achieved a steady string of successful outcomes, and in his management of the firm. I am excited to build on the foundation Paul and others have built over the firm’s history. Going forward, I will focus not only on firm governance, but also on deepening our firm’s relationships with our clients and continuing to deliver the exceptional legal expertise and high-quality service our firm provides in our clients’ most challenging cases.”
Kenneth Trujillo-Jamison, Incoming Managing Partner
Aside from his practice, Kenneth is a dedicated public service leader in the Los Angeles legal community and beyond. He serves as the President of the Board of Inner City Law Center, a non-profit organization that works towards ending the homelessness crisis by providing free legal services to the most vulnerable residents of Los Angeles. Kenneth is also active in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the legal community. He recently was elected to the California Minority Counsel Program‘s Board of Directors, and has served as a 2018 Pathfinder and 2022 Fellow in the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity program.
“As a founding member of the firm and the outgoing Managing Partner, I am excited to pass the torch to Kenneth, who has proven himself to be an excellent leader and outstanding firm citizen. Under Kenneth’s leadership, we are poised for growth and continued success. I strongly believe in the importance of transitioning management to a new generation of lawyers, and I wish Kenneth success in his new role.”
