Paul Loh and Jason Wilson Present at ACC SW Ohio “Just In Time” CLE on Ten Lessons From Ten Famous Trials

On Thursday, November 30, 2023, partners Paul Loh and Jason Wilson will present a CLE presentation titled “Ten Lessons From Ten Famous Trials – From OJ to SBF,” during the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) SW Ohio virtual “Just In Time” CLE program.

Americans are obsessed with high-profile trials. For example, the O.J. Simpson trial has spawned no less than three TV movies and four documentaries. Johnny Depp’s case against Amber Heard was covered closely by all major news outlets. Elizabeth Holmes’ trial resulted in a Hulu miniseries called “The Dropout.” More recently, Sam Bankman-Fried’s fraud trial resulted in wall-to-wall coverage. No doubt, a TV movie is in the works for Bankman-Fried. 

However, famous trials are more than just fodder for the Hollywood script writer: They have lessons for in-house counsel about what to do and pitfalls to avoid in the supervision of matters that may or do go to trial. In their presentation entitled “Ten Lessons from Ten Famous Trials – from OJ to SBF,” Paul Loh and Jason Wilson will explain how famous trials are more than material for future Emmy-winning scripts.
